Should guardians and / or students be able to send messages to the school administration?
Mailboxes for student groups
The system automatically makes suggestions for mailboxes based on the group structures imported from the school administration system. These automatically created message groups are listed under "Mailboxes for student groups" (1). Students and teachers associated with the classes will automatically be associated with these mailboxes.
Sometimes you need to send messages to groups that cannot be fulfilled by automatically created mailboxes. Examples of these may be "Guardians with children at After School Activity", "Guardians of girls football team", "Guardians with pupils in music class" etc.
Message boxes for other groups
When importing groups from the school administration system, groups that can be identified as student groups will be grouped under the section "Message boxes for student groups". All other groups will be located under "Custom mailboxes"
This will typically be employee groups.
