The Timetable module has several uses:
For schools, the timetable module can be used as an absence management system. All courses/ subjects at the school are registered with lesson times, and teachers and students are linked to the courses/ subjects. This gives teachers an overview of their lessons.
This feature supports registering absence for each lesson, and then it can be used as a place for viewing an overview of absence.
When a subject/course is used to record attendance, the checkbox "Attendance checking" must be set
For Kindergartens and After school activities, courses can be used for activities like Tennis course.
Employees will get an overview of the day's activities and which children will participate on the activities. When a current activity is opened, the employee can check the child in and out. Read more at the bottom of the document for how to do this.
To use courses for kindergarten activities, you must check the checkbox "Enable check-in/-out on activity"
Courses (subject or activity) are created as follows:
Enter information about the subject/activity:
Add students to the course. You can add students individually or by class. If a new student is added to a class after the course is created, that new student will be added to lessons from the date the student is registered into that class.
On a student's profile page, you can see a student's timetable and the courses this student is registered on
The schedule can be displayed for a teacher by name search
To register an absence/ presence for lesson
Green square means that the pupil was present whereas red meant absence. Yellow frame indicates the current lesson.
Absence is marked by pressing on the square and stored by pressing "Save and Mark Completed". Students who is not recorded as absence, will be recorded as present.
For activity used in kindergarten, the employee can check pupil in/out students directly from the participant list:
Today's activities at kindergarten are shown on the individual student in the student list:
